24 April 2018 – On a night that would have otherwise been spent in front of the telly watching Netflix, it was great to have the opportunity instead to head out somewhere locally for a little photography with friends.
Our subject for the evening was the SS Ayrfield, Homebush Bay’s iconic shipwreck turned floating forest. One of several decommissioned ships found in the bay, it has since its retirement in 1972 become a popular landmark, the crown of green foliage atop its rusted steel frame making it look right at home among the area’s mangroves.

Great image Will!
An adventure like this is always better than the TV 😊
Thanks Al! Absolutely, a great reminder to spend more time outdoors 🙂
