24 September 2016 – 3am wake up calls are totally worth it when you get to witness a stunning Sydney sunrise.

The location for this morning’s shoot with Des, Anthony and Paul was Potter Point at Kurnell, an area offering a wide variety of landscapes for photographers, from sand dunes to wind swept rock formations. For those wanting to get closer to the sea, there is access via a rope ladder down to the rocks by the water. Personally, I was quite happy to admire the impressive views from the cliff tops!

The following image is a blend of two separate photos – one exposed for the sky, and the other exposed for the rocks in the foreground. A Nisi 10 stop ND filter was used for both images (click on the photo below to view it large).
