At the Museum of Islamic Art
A chance meeting with photographer Daniel Cheong at the museum.

24 May 2017 – Having long been an admirer of his visually stunning cityscapes, it was great to run into and finally meet Dubai based photographer Daniel Cheong during our brief stop at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) in Doha.

The museum, designed by renowned Chinese American architect I.M. Pei, is located at the south end of the Corniche in Doha and is one of the most prominent buildings in the city. The inside of the museum houses a wide collection of Islamic art dating from the 7th to the 19th century.

The following are some photos of the museum taken during the blue hour. A big thank you to Daniel for the inspiration and letting me shoot alongside!
