Good Friday, 25 March 2016 – It was very much a last minute decision to go ahead with our shoot at Dover Heights. The late afternoon weather wasn’t looking all that promising with thick grey clouds blanketing over much of the city, but after a few messages back and forth on facebook with my friend Ana, we decided to wing it anyway.
The clouds were still there when we arrived at Dudley Page Reserve. Thankfully it wasn’t too long before the sun managed to burst through, the start of what turned out to be a spectacular sunset.
As a note, the landscape photos (above and below) looked pretty much the same straight out of the camera (SOOC, for those of you into acronyms), and only required minor adjustments in Lightroom.

One thing I like to do during shoots is capture the other photographers at work! Here’s one of Ana and her friend Simon who joined us a little later.
